Yab Dasho Ugyen Dorji (Yab Dasho) is a descendant of both the mind and speech incarnations of Bhutan’s founder, Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyel. He was born to Dangla Trulku Sangay Tenzin and Ashi Dorji Om in the year 1925 at Kungacholing in Paro.
Yab Dasho Ugyen Dorji Lived through the reigns of four Kings of Bhutan and has contributed enormously to the development of Bhutan especially in the private sector and preservation and conservation of our unique culture and tradition.

Dasho Ugen Tsechup is an alumni of Modern School Barakhamba Road, Delhi and St Joseph’s College, North Point, Darjeeling. He went on to complete history Honours from St. Stephens College, Delhi. He has held various important posts, namely Consul General of Thailand to Bhutan.
He is the founding President of Film Association of Bhutan (FAB), Association of Bhutanese Tour Operators (ABTO), Construction Association of Bhutan (CAB). He also took responsibility as President of Bhutan Football Federation (BFF), Bhutan Body Building Federation (BBBF), and Bhutan Indigenous Games and Sports Association (BIGSA).
Singye Group owns 26 business units ranging from construction, mining, manufacturing, trading, education and Automobile workshops.
The Company employs more than 634 employees across the country, serving different segments of customers ranging from general consumers to industrial clients.

The company started its operations with the dealership of Maruti and Suzuki vehicles. under the dynamic leadership of the Chairman, and in its Endeavour to expand ahead, the company started Maruti service centers all over the country.
During the year 2004 the company understanding the market of Fast Moving Consumer Goods started its operation and a new unit Zimdra Impex was opened to cater the FMCG market. The unit Impex mostly deals in imported consumer goods and beverages from third country. The Management of Zimdra Industries understands that consumer market has high prospective in Bhutan and its growing with the growth in the population and economic standard of the nation.
As the FMCG unit was success the company is now looking at further future prospects in the consumer market. The establishment of manufacturing unit or the trading on a very high scale is now thought about.
